Although the innocent, rustic style remains the heritage of the Laura Ashley brand, Designstudio MVH sought to bridge the gap between the old and the new by introducing contemporary elements of sophisticated crisp.
 
Upon arrival at the Guesthouse, a customized crystal chandelier drapes elegantly over the central space while the interior is bathed in a muted sage, a colour that perfectly offsets the

natural warmth of herringbone patterned floors. In stark contrast to the brand’s floral prints upholstered on various soft furnishing, the furniture and decorative lighting used favours a modern clean form – contrasting between the old and new. An introspection

of the brand’s heritage past, with vision for the future makes the Laura Ashley Guesthouse an experience that transcends time.
